AT&T PEBBLE BEACH PRO-AM FINAL ROUND CBS

Many Thanks to our friends Jim Nantz and Bryan Kosowski for remembering our piece “Fore Fathers” for the beautiful AT&T Pebble Beach Pro-Am segment narrated by R.J. Harper.

“Fore Fathers” has a special place in our hearts. It was just before Christmas in 2009, when David Dachinger and I organized a recording session with New York’s top 30 Classical Musicians (from The New York Philharmonic, Metropolitan Opera and Mostly Mozart) at the world renowned Clinton Recording Studios, with 9-time Grammy Award Winner Recording Engineer, Tom Lazarus at the controls .  We re-recorded 3 of our Masters Themes that CBS liked most. One of those themes, “Fore Fathers” was dedicated to the loving memory of Jim’s Dad, who had passed from Alzheimers. A heartfelt Thanks to Melissa Minker Miller for her kind assistance in arranging for several special guests to join us at the session: Jim, Courtney and Doris Nantz, Peter Smith (IMG), Alan Bastable (Sr. Editor, Golf Magazine), and Andy Freedman (CBS Sports).
