Coffeeshop (aka Giacomo Alloesio)
Giacomo Alloesio, known professionally as Coffeeshop, is a multi-talented Italian sound engineer and producer making a significant impact on the electronic dance music landscape. His journey began in 2018 after earning a BA in Audio Production from Middlesex University in London. He immediately immersed himself in the industry, becoming the creative director and Mix & Mastering Engineer for the recording project "The FifthGuys." His work with the duo culminated in their 2020 breakthrough: a cover of The White Stripes' "Seven Nation Army" (Actuation Records). This track, which he helped produce, has since exploded in popularity, exceeding 20 million streams on Spotify.
Concurrently, Alloesio has cultivated his solo career as Coffeeshop, releasing an impressive 16 tracks (singles and remixes) between 2020 and 2021 through respected labels such as TrapNation, Magic Music, Dancing Dead, and LoudKult. He has also collaborated with internationally acclaimed artists, including American Idol finalist Robbie Rosen and Shiah Maisel, the vocalist for Afrojack.
Coffeeshop describes his style as a dynamic mix of future bass, festival trap, bass house, and pop, infused with the sounds of early 2000s dance music that shaped his musical upbringing.
